This CD has been recorded in an area of the tropical rainforest that is never quite silent, but doesn’t have a cacophony of sound either. It is a peaceful wilderness. The ambience of its sounds evolves throughout the day, with an ever-changing variation of voices. A multitude of birds, frogs, toads and insects have contributed their songs. The impressive calls of howler monkeys and parrots are captured here too, as is a tropical thunder storm. The recordings have been made both at ground level and high up in the tree canopy.
