On this CD you'll hear the voices of eight different blackbirds singing under a varying range of conditions. You'll be able to hear how each bird sings quite distinctly from all the others. The accompanying booklet describes the features you should listen for. In addition to blackbirds you’ll also hear robins, chaffinches, mistle thrushes, song thrushes, a bumble bee and mosquitoes in the foreground, as well as the rumbling of thunder. Supporting roles are reserved for turtle doves, cuckoos, the mooing of cows and a large cast of other birds.
