I receive many comments from people who have purchased one or more of my CD’s. As their responses are always so positive, I love reading them. The work I do in the outdoors gives me a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction, but when I’m at home sitting behind the computer it’s those little signs of appreciation that really keep me motivated. Here are gathered some of the reactions I’ve had from the media and from people who have bought my CDs. Let me assure you that I haven’t concocted them all myself, I simply couldn’t, and would never even dare!
‘Stunning sounds to listen to, and also for recognising birdsongs. Listening to these sounds of nature, including many birdsongs, is a soothing way to relax. It gets even better when you follow along with the CD booklet, where Henk Meeuwsen gives engaging and easy to read descriptions of all the sounds featured in the recordings. The high-quality recordings have all been made in our own country. And that certainly deserves some extra praise, since there are so few opportunities remaining in the Netherlands for making sound recordings of nature without the disruptive noise of human activity in the background.’

The little booklet that comes with it is really nice too. It’s attractively written, not too business-like in tone and it’s great to be able to look up which bird it is that we’re hearing.’
